Celebrating Kwame Nkrumah (21.09.1909 to 27.04.1972)

“Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah bequeathed to Ghanaians a  sense of self worth, national pride and dignity. He embodied and promoted the Ghanaian identity far beyond the shores of the African Continent,” former President John Atta Mills at the official celebrations of the centenary of Kwame Nkrumah in 2009.  The life and times of Kwame Nkrumah remind us that Africans are born from greatness.

About leratomogoatlhe

I fell in love with traveling Africa on a four day trip to Accra in 2006. I started my journeys around the continent in 2008, when I went to Senegal, and around West Africa to launch my dream of knowing Africa through all my senses. I have been to 24 countries (and counting) over five years of stopping everything in my life to focus on one phenomenal continent. #AfricaRocks.
